2017 flagship conference in Berlin

The 2017 flagship conference of the Indo-German Young Leaders Forum was held from 11th to 14th May in Berlin, with a focus on some of the most relevant topics for both countries: The Digital Economy, Renewable Energies, and Vocational Training.

Over four days, 50 selected young leaders from both countries attended plenary sessions, interactive workshops, working meetings, inspirational debates, keynote speeches, as well as company visits and various cultural and informal events in Berlin. Some of the distinguished guest speakers included Prof M V Rajeev Gowda (national spokesperson for the National Congress Party), Ashok Aram (CEO EMEA Deutsche Bank), Bernd Muetzelburg (former German Ambassador to India), and Mukta Dutta Tomar (current Indian Ambassador to Germany). The conference was under the patronage of the governing mayor of Berlin, Michael Mueller, and supported by a large number of partners such as Audi, the German development agency GIZ, the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
