Dr. Christian Wagner is the Head of Research Division Asia at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP).
Previously, he was a senior research fellow at the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn. He also held a faculty position at the Institute for Political Science and Administrative Studies at the University of Rostock and was a research fellow at the Center for Modern Oriental Studies in Berlin.
