Gaurav is a Program Manager at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), where he runs the business outreach and development programs and focuses on India’s foreign and security policy.  He is also on the T-20 Task Force on Climate Policy and Finance, as part of the current German G20 presidency.

Previously Gaurav has worked at the Asia Division of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, New Delhi and in different roles in the corporate sector in Mumbai, Singapore and Australia.

Gaurav holds a Master’s degree in International and European Security from the GCSP (Switzerland), a Diploma in Human Rights, International, Humanitarian and Refugee Laws, from the ISIL (India) and a degree in Information Technology from APJAKTU (India).  Gaurav has received various scholarships like the German Chancellor’s Fellowship and the Young Leader award in the Crans Montana Forum.
