The 2018 flagship conference of the Indo German Young Leaders Forum took place from the 22nd to the 25th of February in New Delhi. 50 selected 'Young Leaders' from both countries this year again discussed topics that address the most pressing issues of today with a host of high-profile guest speakers during panel discussions, workshops, and informal networking sessions.
The IGYLF Flagship Conference 2018 started with a visit to the Indian Parliament, crowned by a meeting with the Hon’ble speaker of Lok Sabha, Sumitra Mahajan. The following days were filled with sessions on topics such as "Healthcare", “Urban mobility”, “Vocational Education and Training”, “Industry 4.0” and “India and Germany as regional powers in the new global multilateral order”. One of the highlights was the dinner reception at the Embassy of Germany hosted by the German Ambassador, Dr. Martin Ney.
Throughout the conference, renowned guests such as Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, Kailash Gahlot, Minister for Transport, Information and Technology, and C.R.Chaudhary, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs followed the invitation to meet our participants and show their support of our initiative.
